ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team in a fast-paced and rewarding role where you’ll play a key part in supporting both in-patient admissions and out-patient programs. From managing referrals and booking appointments to processing admissions and registering clients, you’ll help ensure smooth access to care. Working closely with clients, clinicians, and registration staff, you’ll make a real impact by keeping things running efficiently and ensuring everyone’s needs are met.

WHAT YOU BRING

Education/Experience:

  • One year post secondary office administration program or equivalent
  • A minimum of five (5) years related work experience
  • Experience in the provision of clerical support for medical and clinical staff
  • Experience in the preparation and maintenance of clinical records and preparation of medical correspondence
  • Demonstrated experience with reception, scheduling coordination, and payroll processing
  • Proven experience supporting clients within addiction and mental health services is required

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency with office computer equipment and software including Microsoft Word Excel with knowledge of OTN, Meditech, CWS Catalyst - DATIS, scheduling systems, GroupWise Access and web-based data collection systems is required
  • Demonstrated ability to provide client-centered support

  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team with timeline deadlines and quick response to the clerical needs of the program
  • Excellent communication listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of client and clinicians on a daily basis
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated regular attendance at work

 

Conditions of Employment:

  • This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
