Overview

Our Client is seeking a Brake Press Operator to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machines to produce precise metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

The Brake Press Operator will play a vital part in the manufacturing process, contributing to the creation of complex parts and assemblies used across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Operate press brake machines with precision to form metal sheets according to specifications.
  • Utilize CNC programming and Fanuc controls to set up and adjust machinery for optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents to determine dimensions and tolerances.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members on assembly, welding, or packaging tasks when required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Support quality control procedures by inspecting finished parts for defects or deviations from specifications.

Skills

 

  • Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements, and quality control standards.
  • Understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CNC systems for efficient machine setup.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail.

$20 per hour
