Experienced Roofer
Our company is a Canadian roofing and restoration contractor with over 40 years in business.
We are looking for experienced roofers to join our team working on a variety of roofing, restoration, commercial, institutional, and residential projects.
Experience with slate or heritage roofing is an asset but is not required. We are interested in experienced roofers from a variety of roofing backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace roofing systems
- Perform tear-offs, preparation, flashing, waterproofing, and roofing installation
- Work with sloped, flat, metal, cedar, slate, and specialty roofing systems
- Measure, cut, fit, and install roofing materials
- Load, unload, and move roofing materials
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Follow company safety and quality standards
- Work efficiently as part of a roofing crew
Requirements
- Previous roofing experience
- Comfortable working at heights
- Physically capable of roofing and construction labour
- Valid driver's licence and ability to drive
- Reliable transportation
- Able to travel and work out of town when required
- Slate, cedar, metal, copper, flat roofing, or restoration experience is an asset
- Working at Heights certification is an asset
Pay & Benefits
- $23–$38/hour based on experience
